The PurePhoto StoryMy co-founder and friend, Ryan Phillips, is one of the top portrait and wedding photographers in the country. I've loved photography since my first camera at age 14. Ryan and I started PurePhoto because our friends and family were always asking for photography advice and complaining about the online options for consumers and entry-level pros.
Most of our friends were like us: they loved art, bought the best stuff because they appreciate nice quality, and usually had upgraded to a DSLR. They wanted to capture their travels, hobbies and family memories and thought that by simply buying better gear they could take better photos. Yet they soon realized that they didn't know how to use their camera and were filling up their hard drives with thousands of average pictures. They were creating the digital version of the old box in the closet filled with damaged prints and negatives when what they really wanted was a way to beautifully preserve their legacy - all the memories once displayed in framed prints and photo albums and passed down through generations.
So we created PurePhoto, a company dedicated to helping people improve their images so they can create, share and sell great photography. We are passionate about the art of photography and truly believe that our legacy is your legacy. Let’s build a great one together.
