About Us
The explosion in the use of laptops, netbooks, smartphones and social networks is causing a remarkable shift in the way that we communicate and access our information.

It starts to beg the question, "How do I keep all my information up to date, instantly accessible, and shareable across all my devices and online destinations?"

Our goal at syncables is to address this very question. We believe that users' data should always be at their fingertips, easily found and shared across their various devices and social media websites. Our mission is to provide users the easy-to-use product to do just that - Syncables!

Our company is led by a strong and dynamic team with significant experience in creating and delivering innovative consumer products.

Management Team:

Kent Heyman

President

Kent Heyman has a broad array of public and private company experience, including engagements as General Counsel, CEO, Board Chairman, and board member, working with businesses in telecommunications, technology, software and IT outsourcing. To date, Heyman has worked on over $1B in financing, mergers and acquisitions, turnarounds and restructurings. In addition to his responsibility as president of Syncables, his engagements have included roles at Mpower Communications, ServiceWare Technologies, Knova Software and TechTeam Global.

Kent graduated with honors from Fresno State in 1977, and received his law degree in 1980 from the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law. He began his career as a commercial trial attorney, quickly gaining recognition as one of the youngest rated “AV” litigators in California and citation by Martindale Hubble as one of the nation’s “Pre-eminent” attorneys.

Ola Ajayi

VP of Products

With over 10 years of experience in the consumer technology space, Ola's primary responsibility as the Vice President of Products is driving the product vision and putting to gether a passionate team to achieve that vision (while having fun at the same time).

Before joining the Syncables executive team in April 2008, Ola was a Group Product Manager at Roxio/Sonic Solutions, where he was responsible for the company's flagship $6MM video editing and DVD authoring consumer software - MyDVD, which was licensed to OEMs and shipped on millions of computers from HP, DELL, and Lenovo.

Prior to Roxio, Ola held product marketing and business development roles at ReplayTV, a pioneer in the Personal Video Recording space, and at Hewlett Packard's Home Products Division.

John R Elerding

VP Finance

John has a broad background of public and private company positions as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Finance and Administration Officer and Controller working with businesses in the Life Insurance, Mutual Funds, Investment Banking and the Securities Industry. While in the Securities Industry he held licenses ands served as General Securities, Options, Financial and Operations Principal. In addition to Syncables, he has had roles at MetLife, Astra Management, Robertson Stephens and Omni Worldwide.

John graduated from University of California Berkeley’s Business School in 1974 with a B.S. in Accounting and Finance. He earned his CPA license (currently inactive) while working with Kenneth Leventhal & Co. CPAs and Sugarman and Company, CPAs in San Francisco.

Rob Halligan

VP, Sales & Marketing

Prior to Syncables, Rob served as VP of Global Marketing at Sonic Solutions, where he scaled upgrade sales from PC OEM software shipments to tens of millions of dollars in eBusiness revenue. Among specific accomplishments, Rob drove a strategy for cloud integration within Sonic’s OEM client software, significantly enhancing the profitability of OEM shipments and eBusiness revenue.

Before Sonic, Rob was VP of Worldwide Marketing for Broderbund. Along with a series of business successes, he deployed a strategy for cloud services integrated directly within the company’s heavily OEMed flagship product The Print Shop, driving enhanced upgrades and services revenue from such cloud solutions as online photo sharing and editing, e-greetings, and remote printing services.

Rob has held other senior positions with companies such as Palladium Software, IMSI, and Symantec Corporation.
