Super Blue Stuff OTC Pain Relief From Blue Spring

About Us

The Blue Spring Story
Blue Spring proudly traces its roots to 1999 when Jack McClung invented Blue Stuff and created a company to distribute his amazing pain relief product. Blue Stuff garnered a truly dedicated and loyal following, and the company quickly grew through word-of-mouth recommendations. The Blue Stuff Company evolved over time, and in 2004 Blue Spring International was established by Jack's daughter, Debra Murray. In less than three years, Debra has expanded the business into related product categories including nutrition, wellness, spa and pet product lines. All of the Blue Spring products focus on natural high-quality ingredients, and they are a respected developer and distributor of numerous FDA-approved pain relief products registered under the category of over-the-counter drugs.

Blue Spring's History

The McClung family's entrepreneurial legacy is the foundation of Blue Spring. Jack's grandparents homesteaded land prior to Oklahoma becoming a state, and his father founded Wichita National Life Insurance Company, one of the prominent life insurance companies in Oklahoma. Blue Stuff inventor Jack McClung reached out directly to the public to promote his product through radio and television, and his "grass roots" approach resonated with millions of people. At his Blue Stuff Pain Relief Center in Oklahoma City, anyone could sample the product first hand with a 5-minute guarantee.

The Blue Stuff Company and its founder received many accolades and regional awards including southwest region Entrepreneur of the Year, Oklahoma Innovator of the Year and T Boone Picken's Oklahoma Venture Capitalist of the Year. 95% of sales were the result of direct-to-consumer purchases, and their products appeared in gift bags at the Emmy's, the American Music Awards, celebrity golf tournaments and other national events.

In early 2002, Debra Murray joined the company to direct future growth. Having worked in land development and the home building industry in Northern Virginia for fifteen years, Debra's sales and managerial background was an asset. After a period of significant sales growth and management challenges, the company was dissolved in mid-2004, and Jack McClung retired. Debra acquired the company assets and established Blue Spring International independently on October 1, 2004, and the original Blue Stuff products are now sold under the Blue Spring name. Blue Spring was launched on an exciting and entrepreneurial new path.

Moving beyond its foundational, namesake "blue" products, Blue Spring continued to grow and expand its product line. New categories of skin care products as well as a pet care line were developed. In March 2005, Blue Spring formed a relationship with EuroPharma to bring high-quality natural products from Europe to the United States. EuroPharma founder Terry Lemerond was a leader in the nutritional supplements industry, and he had previously founded Enzymatic Therapy in the late 1970s in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Like Jack McClung, Terry had a strong public presence, appeared frequently on television and radio programs and had a loyal following. EuroPharma had become a principal supplier to regional and local health food stores as well as national distributors, and EuroPharma products enjoy steady support from chiropractors and other holistic medicine professionals. Eventually Blue Spring acquired most of the EuroPharma company products and assets in May 2005, and today the EuroPharma products are sold under the Blue Spring name.
