Why We Exist
Grockit was created to improve the learning outcomes of students by applying the power of social networks, adaptive algorithms, and gaming mechanics to the process of learning and education. Whether preparing for a standardized test such as the SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE, or LSAT or working toward mastering academic skills in Math, Reading, Science, or Social Science, Grockit students all over the world are choosing to study on Grockit.
What is Grockit
Grockit is a pretty simple idea – use social gaming technology and Web 2.0 infrastructure to create a fun learning environment for students. However, the technology underpinning Grockit is extremely sophisticated and took years to develop. The Grockit Collaborative Learning Platform is:

Our Products
Grockit helps prepare students for standardized tests including the SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE and LSAT. Grockit also provides a comprehensive curriculum in Math and English Language Arts aligned to state standards for students in grades 7 – 12 to improve their skills inside and outside the classroom.

Our Name
“Grockit” is a play on the word “grok” which was coined by Robert Heinlein in his book Stranger in a Strange Land. According to Webster, “Grok” means “to understand profoundly and intuitively.” After using Grockit, students “grok” the subjects they have studied.
