We are both a retail store in Concord, NC and a website. We operate them together as one business and serve customers all across the country. A Little History
For five years, we ran a successful retail furniture and gift gallery in Charlotte, NC. Opened in 1996, Himal Home Gallery featured one-of-a-kind rustic and provincial home furnishings from near and far. The award-winning gallery presented a rich blend of hand-crafted furniture, decorative and practical home items. Hand forged iron furniture, such as canopy beds and sleigh beds, featured prominently in our store, and soon became a best-selling line. In 1997, Himal Home Gallery went online and presented an array of best-selling home accent items to internet buyers. It quickly became apparent that the demand for quality wrought-iron furniture was much greater than we anticipated. Carolina Rustica was our response to this demand. In 2000, we relocated our Charlotte store and relaunched as Carolina Rustica, and we have been growing nonstop ever since. Starting with iron beds and furniture, we grew the business with fine suppliers like Charleston Forge, Lexington Home Brands, Century Furniture, and more. At the same time, we added complimentary lighting lines such as Hubbardton Forge, Hinkley Lighting, Currey and Company, Fine Art Lamps, Minka Lavery, and more. We now proudly represent over 75 lines of furniture, upholstery, lighting, and ceiling fans. Our most recent additions include AICO Furniture, Vanguard Furniture and Hickory White. We have received significant press coverage over the last few years with regards to our small-business growth, our use of technology, and our blending of a brick-and-mortar store with our web business. Our Retail Store
Our store is located at the newly renovated Gibson Mill located at 325 McGill Road in Concord, NC 28027. It is a 5,000 square feet showroom which features many of our most popular products and suppliers from our 70+ suppliers. We are sure you will enjoy the ambience and friendly environment.

Carolina Rustica was honored to be chosen by Google to be the subject of a Google feature in which select businesses were profiled due to their success using Google Adwords. This video really captures the essence of Carolina Rustica, right down to the parrot.


We are particularly proud of our new showroom because it allows us to showcase works by renowned local artist Han Cashion. Han is a Korean-born painter of stunning abstract visuals, and her unique perspective on life is evident through the striking balance of color and form on her paintings. Our Store Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 6:30 Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. We are closed on Sunday. You can call the store for more information at 800-205-7819 if you have any questions about current products in stock or if you need verbal directions. You can find some great deals on in-store inventory in our Clearance section. We have also added an adjacent warehouse space to accommodate the growth we have experienced over the last 2 years. This warehouse has made a significant difference in allowing us to stock more products and decrease lead times. Purchases made both at our retail store and through our web site may be personally delivered by us within a 150 mile radius (approximately).
