About Killer Dana
Our Story...
Killer Dana was once considered one of Southern California’s premier point break surf spots. Situated near the coastal communities of Laguna Beach, Dana Point and San Clemente, it was a popular and challenging break for surfers until it was closed in 1966.
Fast-forward 25 years. Killer Dana opened its first surf shop in June 1991 along historic Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) in Dana Point, California. The shop is still in its original location, within walking distance of Doheney and Salt Creek State Beaches, and boasts an outrageous ocean view from the store’s rooftop. And even after nearly 20 years, Killer Dana remains a vital part of the area’s vibrant action sports culture.
That’s what Killer Dana is all about: the sincere stoke of an old-fashioned "sand on the carpet" California surf shop. But it’s much more than that. Killer Dana is one of the nation’s largest online action sports retailers. What does that mean for you? Simply this: No matter what your passion - surfing, skateboarding, wakeboarding, moto, or any other sport that requires an intense adrenaline rush and a sincere love for the extreme - chances are you’ll find exactly what you need to get the awesome experience you’re looking for. Whether you’re out there every week doing what you love, or you just want to look the part, Killer Dana is a one-stop shop for your action sports lifestyle.
